On January 18, after a long legal battle, the Bush administration has been forced to make public motion filed by the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR) on behalf of Guantánamo and former CIA ghost detainee Majid Khan.

The motion is the latest filed by CCR attorneys in the legal battle to preserve evidence of Majid’s torture while held at a CIA black site and to declare that the interrogation methods used on Majid constitute torture, but as in previous motions that have been declassified, all sections that refer to specific interrogation methods used against Majid have been blacked out. Out of the 3 page-note titled “Internal Feelings,” in which Majid described how he was tortured, only one line remain.
If, as Bush proudly claims, US does not torture, why are they so keen to black the truth out?
